Did you get this close, or is that a zoom lens? I'm guessing zoom. Either way, it's cool that you could get a nice, detailed shot before the bird flew away.

Ha ha, no he let me in this close! No zoom, he allowed me to photograph the grumpy little dude for about ten minutes, then flew away, thank you sooo much, I appreciate it, Audra :heart:

Not too sure what kind of bird this is, but reminds me a bit of Angry Birds. :lmao: I hardly get the chance to see more interesting looking birds than Pigeons, great shot!

Gee thanks, this little guy is a chickadee. He posed for me, and I almost named him "Grumpy"! Where do you live that you see pigeons? Usually only in the city anymore would you see them! I found this guy while living in the suburb of Columbus, Ohio.

I live in England. :) Our most frequent birds are usually Pigeons, Seagulls and Blackbirds, but we do sometimes get the odd Chaffinch and other more colourful birds, but not too often, unfortunately!
